How do people and the environment interact?

 The First Grade students are finishing a unit on electricity and building a circuit. They are using this knowledge to display all of the different information they have been learning about China. These displays, which are electric game boards, will be shared during the Multicultural Fair on Thursday, February 21st.

The 100th Day of School also fell this week. We connected this celebration with our study of China by creating a variation on the traditional Chinese Abacus. Students create a 100s Chart Abacus stringing Cheerios.
